How to Find Us
The Barefoot is located right dowtown. If you're in a car, take the Nicholas exit off the 417, turn right onto Laurier and left onto Cumberland.
If you're on public transit, take an OC Transpo bus to the Rideau Centre. Exit on Rideau St and walk towards Cumberland and we're right around the corner.
If you're flying in, grab the shuttle to the Novotel hotel, which is two blocks away.

Parking
The Barefoot Hostel is located right downtown. Literally, minutes walk from all major tourist attractions which is why we encourage you to leave your car at home. If you do have a car there are several options:
Off-site parking
- Free on street over night parking is available in the summertime
- A public parking lot with daily rates is on Besserer street
whitin 1 block from our Hostel.
(approx. $14.00/24 hours) - Underground parking available at the Rideau Shopping Center for approx. $15.00/24hrs or $18.00/24 hours - daily pass with in-out privilages
- Above-ground parking available one block away on Besserer
- Underground public parking at the Quality Inn Hotel on Rideau and King Edward
- Public parking right in the market on Clarence and Dalhousie
